I knew he was something very special

I wanted to share the most incredible success story with you.


I met him on Christian Mingle in September 2003. After about 2 days of chatting online and on the phone, I knew he was something very special.


I lived in Colorado and he lived in Washington. After about 2 weeks we met for the first time and we knew God had something special planned for us.


In November my daughter and I went to visit him at Thanksgiving and he met us at the airport with a rose, a ring, and a big sign that read "Will You Marry Me?" I'm not sure who was more excited...him, my daughter, or myself.


I went home, packed my belongings and moved to Washington. We were married on New Year's Eve. We just celebrated our first anniversary together.


We were initially attracted to each other by our desire to minister to the homeless. Our attraction and desire for ministry quickly grew into so much more. This past year he was ordained as a minister.


We're looking forward to increasing our family with children and seeing how the Lord grows our ministry.


My husband encouraged a coworker to join Christian Mingle and he met his new bride here as well. The most amazing part was that my husband had the opportunity to marry them on Thanksgiving this year.


I'm very grateful this forum existed, the thought of meeting men is very daunting. This forum allows people from all over the world to come together. The Lord can do amazing work through online dating sites.
